About Rachel
Rachel is another hen that came to our sanctuary after a cock fighting raid. She was kept in a small, dark, wooden box with no food and very little water. Her markings are quite striking and while she may have a twin sister, her silly personality sets her apart. Rachel is one of the hens that spends her days roaming the courtyard, scratching at the dirt, and pecking at bugs. You would never know she spent the first part of her life such bad conditions as she is a very sweet and loving hen.
