July 23, 2016: Potbelly pigs Bernie (black) and Elsa (white and black spots) were adopted by an adoring couple! They were built their very own new barn and their enclosure has lots of trees and and paths to explore. Even the neighbors are excited about their arrival and some were there to welcome the piggies home! CONGRATS!! 👏🎉🎉
Furry New Beginnings went in to investigate reports of a resident’s dogs and cats not being cared for. In the back yard they found a sweet little piggy hoping to be found as well. He was sitting in the mud, alone and somewhat afraid. This rescue only knowing cats and dogs reached out to Happy Trails for help and we accepted the call. Bernie now resides with his friends at the sanctuary but really wants to find a family of his own. Is that you?
