Friend and Chill are waiting patiently for their pool to fill so they can "chill out" on this hot summer day. The water that fills the pools comes from our rain harvesting system that was installed last year! ... See MoreSee Less
Friday is a great day for happy endings. Happy Trails in Montana! This beautiful family adopted a retired Amish horse Yoki along with Danza, a cockfighting rooster in one of our pens since 2016. What a beautiful place to finally realize the dream of open pastures. From the family. . .
"Mr. Cluck Cluck, formerly Danza, is living large in Montana. For those of you who didn’t meet him at the sanctuary, he was a former cock fighter. He’s so sweet he went to a nursing home for visits! We adore our cock fighting turned therapy rooster! We hope to be able to take him to nursing homes in the future, too.
He doesn’t have any hens yet but we ended up saving a baby meat goat as a pasture pal for Yoki, the QH we also adopted from Happy Trails. But until they bond, Mr. Cluck Cluck shares his coop with Bubbles the goat." ... See MoreSee Less
What team is capable of moving a 400-600lb? potbelly pig to a waiting trailer? This team! Well maybe with the help of Cleveland APL who called for the assistance of Happy Trails. This 6yo potbelly pig we have named "Winnifred" will need months upon months of rehabilitation to undo the damage; hooves so long she walks on calloused knees, a body so overweight she is blind from the fat folds. But enough about that. We will look forward to her bright future. Move over Wilby, there's a new girl in town. #WinnieCrushWednesday If you are able to help, please send a donation and definitely send a little love her way. ... See MoreSee Less
Kudos to you guys ❤️. How awful for a human to let that happen to her/do that to her. Shame on them. 😡
Bless her heart, and bless each of your hearts for what your doing for her.
Love you Winnifred. Happy you’re getting the help you need! ❤️
Great team work
check on the way. my gosh, i hope her knees will be ok. never seen this before
God Bless you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I have a pot belly pig that desperately needs her hooves trimmed. They are dangerously long. The problem is I can't find anyone to trim them. None of the vets in my area will do it. I can't do it myself as I dont have a way to restrain her for the trimming (also no other people to help). I live in Illinois. any advice on how to get her hooves trimmed before she ends up like this pig???!!!
They can be tough to move, but then when they decide to, can drag the most stalwart team all around the farm 😳
Glad she’s with you for rehab!
She will be so loved and well cared for
Thanks Cleveland APL and the piggy movers team
