Wilby was ‘rescued’ by a citizen from an owner who did not care for the pig properly. Once he was rescued, the citizen did not know what to do with Wilby and he was surrendered to the Elkhart County Humane Society in Indiana. They reached out to Happy Trails for help and Wilby arrived along with Emma at the sanctuary. Wilby is so endearing. He has been evaluated at OSU and his needs have been tended to. Now it is time for an appropriate diet and an exercise program with his partner, Emma.
