August 23, 2015: Our dear Hershey. How we all loved him. For two years, Hershey ran up to every person he encountered and dropped straight on his side to accept his rightful belly rubs. He was fostered by one of our animal caregivers for a time and also did a stint as the ‘office pig’ where he helped the girls with the daily work. Hershey was set to be adopted by a wonderful family who had already accepted him in and loved him a bunch! But it was not to be. Hershey passed away unexpectedly in a freak accident. We all mourn this loss but know he is with our other Happy Trails friends. Rest easy, little pal. We miss you.
