On a more somber note Vinnie Diesel passed across the rainbow bridge at the passing of 2014. He had a multiple list of things wrong with him and he was just too weak to fight anymore. But he asked that I share his story to everyone before he passed. So Vinnie… I’m keeping my promise to you…
His home was not much of a good home. There wasn’t any heat lamps or straw for warmth. The chickens that were there were sick and full of lice. He was always getting picked on for being weak and not able to fight back. Christmas Eve he said a prayer that he could know what it is like to be warm. To not be hungry and afraid. He had heard of love but knew not what it felt like. Even if it was only for a moment… he wished for this. A few days later the human that sometimes fed them grabbed him by his neck and tossed him into a dark box saying something about him being “old and useless”. After a short ride he was thrown over a fence into a cold and scary place…. into an old construction site. There wasn’t any food but he found a puddle of water to wet his beak. He was tired..and weak… and he was sure he was going to die right there in the dark… alone and cold. Then suddenly he heard a voice! A woman was coming to him! She talked in calm voice with no anger at him….she was saving him! After his rescue she took him to a warm house where there was food and water! The woman held him and he felt relief… he was not alone. The next few days other females came and took care of him… holding him and speaking kind words. He said to tell all of us “Thank you”. For showing him what it felt like to be held by another with love and comfort… even though he was covered with bugs! He crossed over feeling love…and he was not afraid anymore. I was with him when he crossed. He was happy and no longer in pain. So here is to you Vinnie….He received his Christmas wish… Steph
