Sadie went to her new forever home today. Sadie was one of seven horses rescued from the Mt. Hope horse auction. Her eye had ruptured and it looked very painful. We knew we had to save this poor girl. Her life ended up being worth $25. We brought her back to Happy Trails and took her to have her eye removed. She did very well and made a complete recovery. Sadie adjusted fairly quickly to only having one eye. She is such a sweet mare and we are so happy that she has found a home and a family to call her own.
