About Chapman
August 30, 2015: Chapman was adopted today! The family came in looking for piggies, of which they adopted two. But during their visit this special guy caught her eye. She couldn’t get him out of her mind. So she took him home where he will be loved forever. Goodbye Chapman! We wish you the best and congratulations go to your new family.
July 21, 2015: Looking to learn how to drive? Chapman, retired as an Amish buggy horse, can show you how. This is his business, it is what he knows. Let him show you the ropes and in return give him the loving retirement he deserves.
November 20, 2014: Chapman is a retired Amish horse. He is very sweet and quiet. Chapman is rideable, but has not been trained under saddle. He was a cart horse for most of his life. He was at the same Amish farm for the past 20 years and has been mostly retired for the last 5 years. He has made short trips around town since then and another horse did the heavier work. When his owner could no longer afford to keep him around as well, he contacted Happy Trails to let us find him a new home. Chapman is super sweet and loves kisses! He is in great shape and does not show his age at all! Will you give this handsome fella a home?
