January 4, 2017: Thanks to YOU, our amazing supporters, little Miss Audrey was able to receive the surgery and medical care necessary to get her healthy and adoptable. Yesterday, she made the long trip to her forever home in Michigan! Thank you, Kaylie, for seeing the same beautiful soul in Audrey that we do, and for offering the wonderful new life that she deserves.
Mahoning County responders arrived at a working fire of a residence. Once the fire was under control, not only had it gutted the family home, it shed light on seven horses kept in a small pole building with no food, water or hay. Their conditions were cold, wet and unsanitary and the horses were definitely in need of rescue from their situation.
Pasture Pal: Audrey along with her pal Celeste were the most neglected of the group. They together had the worst feet that our two professional rehabilitation farriers had seen in their collective quarter century of work. Audrey has been started on trims to recover her hooves and she is cute and sassy and ready to belong to someone.
