On April 8th we reported the unique discovery of a freeze brand on Milagro, one of three horses recently rescued together from a long-spanning situation of neglect. Two of our supporters recognized Milagro from ourFacebook post as well as news footage of the rescue. It seems one actually partnered with Milagro in the show circuit! Happy Trails was notified and Milagro was paid a visit by his long ago owner. As she walked toward him and wrapped his head in her arms, he rested his chin on her shoulder and she wept quietly in the face of his poor condition. Happily, Milagro will be adopted back into her home and take his rightful place to live out his last years loved and cared for, just as it should be. This is proof of your power.
