June 18, 2016: Natasha and Odessa have hit the jackpot! They have retired together with our founder, Annette. This promises they will live happily ever after in a wonderful home with a wonderful pasture with amazing parents. Nothing but the best for our most loved ambassadors of Happy Trails.
Natasha was found on the side of Bath Rd in Akron when she was only 1 1/2 days old. She was so tiny that the humane officer handed her over in one hand and so young she had to be syringe fed and fostered indoors. Natasha served as a Happy Trails Ambassador visiting nursing homes, schools, and making appearances at community events. She is an important part of Happy Trails and more so, the community. Recently our Founder and the person who rescued Natasha took her home to live out her days in a lush field of pasture grass with her life companion, Odessa. She can be seen daily exploring and grazing and occasionally calling a hello.
