Sheep & Goats : Sheep
Happy Trails occasionally has sheep available for adoption.
Sheep adopted from Happy Trails must have access to a shelter with thick bedding (preferably straw). Sheep also need a large fenced area, with appropriate fencing, for exercise.
All sheep adopted from Happy Trails must be adopted in pairs or adopted to homes that already have a companion animal.

About Avis
Cordero, Pecora and Avis arrived at Happy Trails as a family of sheep. A fourth sheep named Skaap was elderly and suffered with arthritis. Sadly we lost their older friend this past winter. These three sheep are very bonded, and we would love for them to be adopted together as a family. Avis and Skaap were best friends, and he misses his older sheep friend terribly. Avis is probably over five years old and is the quietest out of the three sheep. All three are up to date on deworming, hoof trims, vaccinations, and are sheared in the Spring.

About Pecora

These three sheep are very bonded, and we would love for them to be adopted together as a family. Pecora is jokingly referred to as “the mother of all sheep” because of her size. She doesn’t eat more than the other sheep, she’s just a big girl and can’t help it. Though her size is rather impressive, she is not mean spirited in any way nor is she aggressive. Pecora is probably between four and five years old. All three are up to date on deworming, hoof trims, vaccinations, and are sheared in the Spring.

Cordero is the youngest. He arrived as a baby lamb, and grew up to be the handsome two year old creature that he is today. All three are up to date on deworming, hoof trims, vaccinations, and are sheared in the Spring.
