Pigs : Pot Bellied Pigs
Happy Trails has a very large assortment of pot bellied pigs available for adoption. Of this assortment there are males and females and varying sizes, ages, and colors.
Pot bellied pigs can be adopted to indoor or outdoor homes. Outdoor homes must have an enclosed, draft free shelter and a large yard for exercise with secure fencing. In cold temperatures, we recommend thick bedding, preferably straw, blankets and a heat lamp for them to snuggle under.
All pot bellied pigs adopted as outdoor pets from Happy Trails must be adopted in pairs or adopted to homes that already have a companion animal.
Profile for Jolie, Dulce, and Dozer

About Jolie, Dulce, and Dozer
Jolie and Dulce came in together from a neglect situation. Both were severely overweight and had overgrown hooves. Jolie is a social butterfly and loves to greet people in hopes of getting a belly rub or a treat. Dulce is a little more reserved. We aren't sure of her exact age, but she seems to be a senior. She suffers from arthritis and will need to be on medication for the rest of her life. These ladies have been best friends and have spent their lives together so they will need to be adopted together.
Dozer came to us from a separate neglect situation. He is a very active, vocal pig. He is always out and about at the farm looking to see what is going on. Since coming to Happy Trails he has bonded closely with Jolie and Dulce. They are best friends! They like to take naps in the sun together and cuddle up in their shelter at night. We would love to keep this trio of pigs together.

About Convington and Houdini
This couple is as cute as can be. Their sad past has brought them to Happy Trails and allowed them to become best friends. We would love for them to be adopted together. Covington is 3 years old. She came from a Kentucky cat shelter. She is not only sweet and cuddly, she is housebroken as well. Houdini is a 1-year-old and he is fixed. He is a lot of fun to play with. Houdini was found roaming the streets. It is hard to think of his lonely walks. Please consider taking them into your family and they will reward you with tons of joy!

About Petunia and Pandy
These two adorable gals both came form the same place in Medina County – another didn’t-seem-to-be-legitimate “rescue organization” was shutting down and couldn’t care for the animals any longer. Happy Trails assistance was requested by the local APL. Both pigs' hooves were extremely long and they were terribly overweight when they first came in. Now they snuggle up under the warm lamps in their donated blankets, safe and sound. If possible we would like for Petunia and Pandy to be adopted together.

About Tootsie
Tootsie is a very large pot bellied pig. She is not very friendly and at times she can be a bit aggressive. It will take a special type of person to own her however, she deserves a nice home that she can call her own. Happy Trails will care for her until she finds her forever home. Would you consider taking her on to make room for another rescue? If so, you have saved two lives and given Tootsie a chance to warm up to us humans.

About Peaches
Peaches came to Happy Trails as a baby around 7 years ago. She was adopted out but then was returned a year later. Aladdin and Peaches are a great pair and rely on each other for piggy company. Together they spend their days exploring and their nights burrowed in donated blankets and straw. Help us reward this pair with their forever home to afford room for another pig in need of rescue.
Update: Sadly, Aladdin has passed away. This leaves Peaches without her friend here at Happy Trails. Of course in time she will try to find another to replace her companion. Could that companion be you? Please contact us at Happy Trails if you can find the room in your home and heart to bring this pig into your life.

Munna came from a neglect situation in Portage county along with Yamka. After arriving at Happy Trails they made other friends and grew apart. Munna is fairly independent. She isn't aggressive, however she isn't overly friendly either. She is an adorable girl that is patiently waiting for her forever home, but in the meantime, she would love to have someone to call "sponsor". 2/13

She is ready and eager to take her place in your family.

About Yamka
Yamka came from a neglect situation in Portage County along with Munna. After arriving at Happy Trails, they made other friends and grew apart. Yamka loves to explore the yard and enjoys laying in the sun. Because of an old back injury, Yamka will hopefully go to a home where she is not picked on by other pigs or animals. Until then, could you be her sponsor? 2/13
