Adopted!
August 29, 2016: Cactus has a new chance at happiness! Let’s wish him the best as he travels to his new foster home where, if everything goes well, he will be adopted permanently in to the family!
July 24, 2016: Cactus was taken on a trial basis, but through no fault of his own, he has been returned to Happy Trails. Lucky for him right in time for the chiropractor! Cactus received an adjustment and is back in the pool of amazing and available horses for adoption.
Ridable: Cactus is an old friend. Once the horse of a long time volunteer and supporter, Cactus was adopted to a therapeutic riding center nearby. Unfortunately after years, the stables had to make some tough decisions and Cactus was returned. He is quite the guy. A spitfire of a ride, he will need an experienced rider. He was ridden regularly in his previous home and seems to thrive on the attention. He does have some arthritis but I don’t think you can tell him that! He definitely does not act his age and would love to pal up with a youngster (experienced remember) to hit the trail and make some memories.
