February 2, 2016: It’s been a long road but Beauty has finally found the human she wishes to settle in with. An amazing, sassy, solid sound horse, she has been through so much and deserves the home she has found. Congrats!
Ridable: Beauty was originally brought to us a few years ago as an Amish retirement horse. She was turned out on grass too much too early in the season and foundered. She has since made a full recovery and has had no issues. She was adopted a few years ago and returned this summer due to her family moving and not being able to take her along. Beauty is trained and ridable. She is very solidly built, so even though she is short, she is easily able to carry a taller rider. She is also a gorgeous and smooth mover. Beauty may have dealt with some abuse in the past as she gets scared when ropes are swung around her that she thinks will hurt her, but she is fine when they are swung in a manner of just playing around or desensitizing her. Is there a place for Beauty in your heart?
