Five adorable sheep, along with an assortment of other
farm animals, called Happy Trails home while they awaited a court trial for an animal abuse case in the Medina County Municipal Court. A guilty plea right before the trial resulted in the surrender of the confiscated animals, and now, five beautiful sheep are actively seeking a caring, loving home!
This case involved the buying/selling of livestock at the Ed Lind's farm in Medina, Ohio. This was a very sad case of animal abuse, and many people have been following the story of this investigation for quite some time. We are thrilled that Medina County chose to bring abuse of animals in the livestock industry to light and to address animal abuse seriously in Medina County.
Of the sheep from this case, so far, one handsome boy has been adopted.
That leaves us: Elvira, the female that we affectionately refer to as the mother-of-all-sheep, just because of how big and tall she is; and three other (neutered) young male sheep.
If you are thinking about adding a happy sheep to your outdoor family pets, please consider one of these guys! They are truly wonderful, and really could use some one-on-one time with a family they can call their own!
