Thanks to The Kindness Of Animal-Lovers From Literally Across The Globe — 25 Horses Were Saved From the Kill Pens At Sugarcreek On Friday May 9th!
25 horses, mostly draft breeds, along with several Standardbreds and several donkeys, were saved from being purchased by the meat-buyers at the Sugarcreek Auction on Friday, May 9th! Read the details and check out the photos here!

Draft Horse Rescue Underway — Tony & Red Request Help On Behalf Of The Draft Horses
Happy Trails is working together with Frog Pond Draft Horse Rescue of Cambridge, Ohio, to support their rescue efforts pulling ten draft horses from the "kill-pens" at the Sugarcreek Auction in May, where these majestic creatures (mostly Belgians and Percherons) would normally be sold to the meat-buyers.
