Horses, Horses And More Horses!

As of the writing of this article, Happy Trails has 38 horses that the sanctuary is currently responsible for — all which have come from either abuse, neglect or abandonment situations, or from our Amish Horse Retirement Program. Several horses were part of the May 9th rescue from the Sugarcreek Auction where they would have ended up heading to slaughter.
