We appreciate your patience as we strive to get this list updated, add photos, details, and additional information about each animal. The adoption list can normally be viewed on the left side of the website by clicking on the animals available for adoption tab.

The following is a list of animals who are ready to find their forever homes!
DUCKS
• (NOT NAMED YET): (NEW) A black female Pencil-walker mix. VERY friendly and loves people. Will be an excellent pet, and she'd prefer a home with at least one other duck. Adoption Fee $8.00.
GOATS
• PENELOPE: A caramel-colored 5 month old female mix - will grow up to be on the smaller side. Was tested positive for CAE but shows no signs of it at this time. Funny and comical. No horns. Adoption Fee Waived to an approved home.
• KEEBLER & CARTWRIGHT: Two Pygmy boys, both about a year old; best friends; will be adopted together; recovered from an assortment of medical issues; now current and up-to-date on all vaccines, hoof trims, worming practices, etc., have horns, $100 Adoption Fee for the pair
• PEMBROKE: White goat with a brown face (mixed breed); may possibly get larger; about 6 months old; castrated male; has horns, $50 Adoption Fee
• DORA: Dora the Exporer arrived at Happy Trails in an Explorer - you get one guess as to how she got her name! This tiny but full-grown older pygmy is cute as a button, and due to her recent arrival, will be vet-checked this next week.
RETIRED AMISH HORSES (Standardbreds)
• Sonny: (Pasture Pal)) 20 year old bay gelding, blind, will be arriving at Happy Trails this weekm and will receive his medical evaluation next week. Adoption Fee. Waived for an approved home
• Nick: (Pasture Pal) 12 year old black gelding, Adoption Fee Waived for an approved home.
• Chevaz: (Ridable) 19 year old black gelding, sound and healthy, former buggy horse, can still do light duty, should make a great trail horse with a little training (all the retired Amish Standardbreds who are sound make great trail horses - I have one myself!). $250 Adoption Fee.
• Juliette: (Pasture Pal) 25 year old black mare, Adoption Fee Waived for an approved home.
• Hurricane Jenny: (Ridable at a walk) 15 year old bay mare, ok'd for light trail or backyard riding at a walk only due to arthritis in her one hip. $250 Adoption Fee.
• Berkley: (Pasture Pal) 19 year old bay gelding. Adoption Fee Waived for an approved home.
POT BELLY PIGS
•3 New Babies: Just arrived - 2 girls - one pink, one black, 1 boy - black. Will be receive their medical evaluation within the week.

PASTURE PAL HORSES (not ridable)

• Callie: 14chestnut Arabian mare with a white star
• Evita: 12 year old chestnut Arabian mare
• Koda: 20 year old brown and white Paint gelding; special needs
• Migisi: 20 year old Palomino Quarter horse gelding, recovered from extreme neglect and starvation
RIDABLE HORSES
• Houston: 20 year old chestnut Arabian gelding, on medication for Cushings, is doing fantastic!, on the smaller side, needs a light to medium-weight rider. $250 Adoption Fee.
• Sophie: dark bay Standardbred mare, excellent trail horse, can carry a rider up to about 170-180 lbs., Parelli trained, is being returned to our program due to the death of her owner. $450 Adoption Fee.
• Solera & Ariel: two Arabian mares, onw a flea-bitten gray, one a dark chesnut, need to be adopted together, their vet check-up at the equine hospital will be next week and more info will be available then, both look and act healthy and sound, Adoption Fee not yet set
• Ziggy: 10 year old Thoroughbred gelding, formerly raced and worked as a hunter/jumper, may do light-trail only now due to navicular. $250 Adoption Fee.
POT BELLY PIGS
Adoption Fee: $50 for each piggy

CHICKENS
• BLACK AND WHITE BARRED ROCK: sweet sweet hen - likes people, will make a fantastic pet. Adoption Fee: $5
• ROOSTERS: and lots of them; many to choose from - all friendly toward people! Adoption Fee: $5
GEESE
• SWEETPEA: special needs, a white female goose who had to have one eye removed by Dr. Riggs at the Barberton Veterinary Clinic, she gets around very well, but needs to be with other feathered friends who won't pick on her, she is shy. Adoption Fee: $8
• ARISTOTLE: buddy to Sweetpea, would like to be adopted with her if possible. Adoption Fee: $8
