We had a fantastic (but rather hot) day in the parking lot of Ravenna's Tractor Supply Company store. Not only did we sell horse tack, but we took along farm animals such as chickens (hens and roosters), Sherwood Forrest Gump the baby pot belly pig, and Natasha the goat. Many well-wishers visited the Happy Trails crew, pet the animals, and talked about volunteer opportunities with the sanctuary. Thanks, too, to Dr Holly Troche for being on hand to lend us her expertise in pricing horse tack, and to talk to guests about horse health care. It was a grand day, and as always, Happy Trails volunteers came together to make it happen.
