The English Pub’s 6th Annual Golf Outing Featuring Happy Trails!

Attention Golfers!!! Here’s Your Chance To Get A Team Together For Charity!

 

Thanks to John Rock, owner of The English Pub in Ravenna, a charity golf outing is featured every year to support an animal rescue organization. This year John and his committee has chosen Happy Trails to be the recipient of the proceeds from the golfing event.

 

WHEN:  September 29^th (Saturday), 2012 beginning at 10am

 

WHERE: Kent State Golf Course on Rt. 59 in Kent, Ohio

How to get involved:

1. You can sign up to golf with your team of 4 members!
2. You can sponsor a hole for $100 (even if you can’t make it to the event you can still support the sanctuary)!

 

And working in cooperation with John as a restaurant owner, he has been simply fantastic to work with regarding offering vegan food for our vegan supporters at his event! 

 

John’s current menu at The English Pub had not offered any vegan fair…up to now!  Chef Scot Jones, an expert with absolutely amazing vegan cuisine, helped prepare vegan dishes for John and his committee to sample. Everyone was in agreement – the new dishes were excellent!

 

So with John being open to adding vegan dishes to The English Pub menu and agreeing to offer vegan food at his golf outing, we are thrilled with this opportunity to provide vegan options on yet another restaurant menu!

 

Lunch on golf day will consist of scrumptious vegan Mexican sandwich wraps, and dinner will provide amazing vegan entrees for those who are willing to try something tasty AND animal-friendly! (We encourage all golfers to choose the vegan alternatives that John will be offering for dinner  – we guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!)
